December's Memory Verse!

Memory Verse: "God has given a son to us." Isaiah 9:6, NCV

Here's a great idea to help your little ones learn their memory verse!

At snack time, grab some cheese and crackers. Make a tower by stacking first cracker, then cheese, then cracker, then cheese. Say a word of the memory verse every time you stack an item. Build the tower a couple of times and then eat your tower once you’ve learned the verse!

The Critter Clubhouse room is a place where our children ages 3-5 come together each Sunday for worship, puppets, bible stories & learning activities. The environment is designed to make the kids feel as if they are right in the midst of God's beautiful creation amongst the trees, birds, flowers, & other critters in the room. Children can't wait to visit the clubhouse each week! The Children's Ministry Team of Woodland Hill's Family Church decided that we want to open the clubhouse up once a month for story & craft time for the little ones and have a time of fellowship for the parents.

On the first Wednesday of every month, our coffee bar will open for free drinks at 9:30am and story & crafts will follow at 10am. The activities are for toddler to preschool aged children and sibling helpers are welcome to attend throughout the summer. This is open to the community and we hope to see you at our first one, April 6th!
