July Story Time!

July's Critter Street Story and Craft Time was a great success! We read "Elmer the Elephant" and had a great time playing, eating, and connecting! Watch our awesome video compliments of our very own Stephanie Watson, and plan on joining us in August!

Here's a review of what we're doing in July!


BIBLE STORY SUMMARIES:

WEEK 1
Genesis 6:8-22; 7:1-24
God tells Noah and his family to build an ark because He is going to destroy the world with water.

WEEK 2
Genesis 8:1-9:17
God keeps His promise to Noah. Noah, his family and the animals on the ark are all saved from the flood. God makes a rainbow as a sign of His promise to never flood the world again.

WEEK 3
Judges 7:1-8
God tells Gideon which men in his army can stay and fight and which ones have to leave. Gideon is left with a very small army.

WEEK 4
Judges 7:9-22
God helps Gideon win the battle with a small army. Their only weapons are horns, torches and jars.

WEEK 5
2 Kings 5:1-14
Naaman goes to see the prophet Elisha to get his leprosy healed. He has to dip in the water and trust that God will heal him.

June Small Talk

Here's a review of what we're doing in June!


Bible Story Summaries:

Week 1

Exodus 20
God gives the Ten Commandments to Moses and the Israelites.

Week 2

2 Timothy 3:14-17; Joshua 1:8
The Bible is true. It has God's words in it. God gave it to s so we can know Him. It is important that we read it so we will know what God wants us to do.

Week 3

1 Kings 5:1-6:38
God gives King Solomon instructions for how to build the temple. Solomon obeys and does what God tells him to do.

Week 4

Ephesians 6:1-3
God teaches children that obeying their parents is the right thing to do.

June Story and Craft Time!

It's almost here! The next Critter Street Story and Craft Time will be Wednesday, June 1st! Come at 9:30 am for free drinks from the coffee bar, and story time starts at 10. We'll have crafts, snacks and games! We'll be reading the story, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", and seeing the changes that happen to him, and learning that change is also happening in you!
